Neevie is completely bonkers this morning
she has been running up and down the house for the past 30 minutes, litterally flying from couch to couch, jumping on the back of an armchair, stopping periodically to look at me defiantly (yeah, I just woke up, I'm not even going to try, Pirate...) and I'm sure I saw bits of carpet flying! she's going so fast, like Pixel I'm sure she's never been told it's not possible.... may be I should... (not mid-flight, though, might be dangerous)
do yours also have madness moments? how long does it usually last before they just go "bonk!" and fall asleep where they land?

Alekto, Neevie is so funny! Ginger does the same routine every single morning. She gallops through the house, chirping, yowling and carrying on. So maybe after getting 16 hours of rest you rest gotta run off some energy? hahaha I am never that spunky when I get up!

Mandy only lets loose when no one is looking. I've observed her killing toy mice, arching her back at invisible enemies, and just being a silly clown. But, as soon as she knows someone is watching she immediately stops! Yesterday she crouched down and shook her tail like she was going to pounce on me! She didn't pounce, but I was happy to see her at least trying to have some fun. I'm not sure what goes on at night sometimes. With four cats, it's hard to tell who is doing what. Rose, our Bengal mix is the nighttime crazy cat. She starts howling as soon as the lights are off, and it's a few minutes after then she will jump on the bed and attack our feet. If there's a thunderous elephant-in-tap-shoes noise accompanied by the jingle of ID tags, that's Sampson chasing someone around. Yesterday they dug out a plastic vial that was half-full of catnip in the basement...They made such a racket I thought they'd found another mouse down there!

Sidney is going mental in the living room. We have put up a mini Xmas tree just out of his reach, and have piled up presents with labels on... I've been trying to distract him with a laser pointer, but have given up watching tv and have gone to bed. He has been bouncing all over me, farting away like he's been chugging curry all day and licking everything he can. I think he may actually be insane.
