Thread: Lovely Story

What a beautiful story. I suffer from generalized anxiety disorder and haven't had a major attack since I adopted Mandy four years ago. We have four cats altogether, two are Maine Coons, and all of them help out in some way. Our Bengal mix Rose is very attached to our youngest son and helps him stay calm. Our ginger tabby Sampson is a self-appointed guard cat and will fight off intruding strays and other animals. He saved our elderly Maine Coon, Merlin, from being mauled by a nasty tomcat this summer. Then add to that I recently was informed that the path behind our fence is being used by a group of young men who have been breaking into cars and houses as a hideout. Sampson is always obsessed with patrolling that area and now I pay more attention to his behavior. I can't tell you how many nights I've wondered why he would sit and watch back there and I didn't know what he was hearing or seeing. Cats are far more loyal than we give them credit for!

How lovely is that... a very special relationship & as for the cats face showing in the painting over the piano in the last picture well that is really something,so pleased I read the comments or would have missed it......x
