Add males as being the "lights on no one at home" village idiot to what cooncatbob says & you have basically got it in one although as with all there are exceptions to the rule,I have always maintained that the girls are always busy busy & very bright but having taken nearly three months for our girl to learn how to go "out" of a cat flap have to admit some females obviously have a lower wattage light bulb fitted...
Do enjoy your new babe will look forward to seeing & hearing all about it & I don't think it will be too many months down the line you will be smitten by how different owning a MC is to others but all the basics are still the same just make sure everything you buy is that bit larger....x
