    Cat litter boxes

Oh its me again ! now dont look so down hearted you might be able to help !! lol

I am thinking cat litter boxes ! Now it could be worse people I could be obsessed with how much of the bed am I going to be left with when Dylaln is fully grown and him and Teddy get there first ! I only have 1 third of the bed as it is !! lol

I dont want to change his litter tray half way through his growing so was wondering if anyone knew where to get one that will accommodate a fully grown boy. I know it will look silly to begin with but he will grow into it !! lol One with a hood i think to give him his privacy. Thanks guys for taking time to read and being very patient with me, I promise I will learn with your help.

I picked up the Roll'n Clean Litter box | Self Cleaning Litter Box I'd read a bunch of great reviews on it and the large size is big enough for a coonie. It's a really good price no more than £30 and i don't have to bother with scooping litter! i've been impressed with it for far but the true test will come this weekend when Chiyo comes home but plenty of other people on the forums have one.

I started off with the biggest hooded trays I could find but the adult girl I had started peeing on the top..... weird thing is daughter had the same problem with her cat {daughter to mine so things run in the feline family lines too} she said take a lid off of one of them & she will be fine,I did & she was but also noted then that the other two with lids on didn't get used so much so came to the conclusion that with the one big boy I had then that he most probaly couldn't move round as well as he liked,MC's do love to dig their way through to the underneath, took all tops off & all trays got used again,as I needed to replace I took up the idea of someone else on the forum, bought the plastic under bed storage containers, they are smooth & a lot lot easier to clean, you can buy one as deep & as long as you can fit into your room & the cats adore it,so much more room for happy digging & even the babes love it,great fun.....

We got lucky with ours, found it at a local pet store, big enough for any size Monster Cat. But also, check out Amazon?
...and yeah, may be time to buy a bigger bed... :-P

Victoria thank you so much, I have never seen a litter box like that before ! Oh am I behind the times or what !! lol Watched the video and it looks brilliant will definately be seriously considering that one for sure. I have always used the wooden litter that doesnt clump but after watching that video I am really considering getting the clump together litter and giving it a go. Please please let me know how you get on with it when Chiyo comes home. x

A woman after my own heart ! lol necessity being the mother of invention ! I would never in a million years have thought of one of those storage boxes for a litter tray, and yet now you have said it, ding, the light bulb lit just above my silly brain !! lol Great idea and it means I can have a few dotted around the house. Dont want the wee man being caught short, that is just the worst thing, has happened to me a couple of times !!! lol It also means that I can have the clump litter and the wooden. I like the idea of both the self cleaning one and the storage box one. Just wait and see and I bet I will have every cat in the street lining up to use my cat loos !!! lol Thanks so much for taking time to post not only a bright idea but much appreciated to, thank you x
