Storms
Yee Gods did anyone else get that storm this morning, I was fast asleep, then crash bang wallop, wondered what was going on.
I hate being woken up at speed, the thunder and lightening were mega, and boy did it pour.
And I am sat thinking just the sort of weather you want when going to an open air concert tonight, NOT, it might be a bit soggy tonight at Lytham, we are going to see Kathryn Jenkins. Raincoats at the ready.

Yep we had a horrid storm at about 4am. At least the power stayed on this time, not like Wednesday night when it knocked half the county out for a couple of hours. Mind you the storm didn't wake me; Buddy did wanting to go and play in the puddles, daft cat. He's only just drying out now
Hope you have a good time at the concert; plenty of alcohol and you won't notice the rain lol x

Kathryn J was at Blickling last week {only a couple of miles away from us} & the sun shone for her,the two concerts on the previous nights were dull, cold & the occasional shower but I don't think the weather would dare rain on her parade....... Wish we had got tickets to go now as hearing comments from friends it was a super night,so enjoy.
We missed out on the storm but had *issing rain from about 7am,had to take brekkie out into the pen for the boys, they had the sense to go through the cat flap but muggins here had no option, that meant a change of top before going to work.
Will think of you tonight.

We were sooooooo lucky, it was pouring here when we left yesterday afternoon, buy the time we got to Gt Eccleston it was bone dry, they hadnt had a drop of rain, and it stayed like that all evening , as the fireworks went up at the end of the show we felt just a few drops of rain.
Within 1hr of getting home the heavens opened again and it poured again all night.
