Coonie Fur and How Cold Winter Will Be?

Mandy's fur is the longest and fluffiest I've ever seen it this year. The extra fluff started in early October even though it wasnt too cold yet. Her mane is huge and I've really had to step up grooming her regularly to avoid knots and matting. She also goes NUTS when it snows and insists on going out to play in it. I think that the length of Coonie fur is directly proportional to the amount of snow and cold temps we'll get in winter LOL!! So add it to the wooly bear caterpillars, colors of the leaves in fall, and whatever other forecasting folklore you know!
