Some snaps of previous pets :)
I came across these photos today so thought I'd share
These two (well, one plus a bottom) are Fruit'n'Nut and TJ (the ginger bottom). They were rescued by my mum's friends who had to go off to Kenya so we took them in. TJ ended up staying for about five years until sadly he disappeared - we suspect he was poisoned as many cats in our area were :( Fruit'n'Nut now has a more normal name and lives with my mum's friends.
This is Molly - I got her after we realised TJ wasn't coming back. She now lives with my aunt as my mum became allergic to pet hair. She's so teeny here compared to Teddy!
This is Lyla, another of the rescue kittens - she was my personal favourite! She lives with her original rescuers.
Molly again - in comparison to quite a small teddy bear
These were puppies our dog ha - the darker one is Maddie (she really lives up to this name!) and the other is Hollie (they were born in December). Both of them live with friends of our family.
This is Poppy - she was always a bit camera shy. She also had to be rehomed due to my mum's allergies. She lived with our neighbour's aunt. Unfortunately she died in October but they only just got around to telling us :( Poppy was 12 which I think is probably quite a good age for a king charles cavalier spaniel. She was a lovely gentle little dog RIP Popps!

MC Bubba (RIP)
He reached out to me when I was running the aisles at the LV pound
and barely fit in the box they gave me to take him home in.
Great cat.
HCM ( and my ignorance of it ) took him away way too soon.

It's probable that Bubba had heart problems when I got him and the vet I took him to for his takehome checkout
was clueless about HCM. I'll stick to cat-only vets from now on. I don't think he was actually abused because he
was a total people kitty but he wasn't very well taken care of. I had to have his belly shaved to get rid of the mats.
He might have been brought in as a stray or feral too. The Nevada desert is a pretty harsh place for cats between
the climate and the coyotes and I think Bubba might have been outside for awhile. After he came home with me
he pretty much refused to have anything to do with that side of the door. If I carried him outside and put him down
he'd immediately jet back to the front door and give the "please let me back inside now, please" look.
Kind of backwards. Most try to scoot out the door...Last edited by claudel; 4th May 2011 at 12:33 PM.
