They are amazing dogs, although known as the heartbreakers as their lives are rather short unfortunately but once you have been blessed with a Dane in your life you can't go back. They really do get into your heart and make you love them so much. The only other animal that I have loved like a Dane is my Coonie actually!

Thank you. Blue was a total head turner even for a Dane. His size and his loving personality always got people coming over, all of our Danes have always had a love for kids too, they go all floppy and soft when a kid approaches. lol I could never have another breed now TBH. I think I will always have Danes and Coonies.
Danes keep growing until they're 2 years old so it's looking like Cody will outgrow even Blue. Good in a way but worrying too as their hearts just can't handle that sort of size. Blue was 13 stone and 3 ft 2 at the shoulder but his heart was 'average' sized :( I miss Blue every day and hope one day I will have a dog as wonderful as him again.
