Please meet Jessie

Jessie is our 6 year old Aussie Shepherd. She's the most beautifully natured dog I've ever known. This is a pic of her waiting for her best friend to come home from a visit to her father's. She sits like this each fortnight, waiting patientlly. The bum wiggles when her person comes home are indescribable!
If anyone is looking for a best friend for their children, I strongly recommend the Australian Shepherd. They're gorgeous mid sided dogs that are perfect for a family. And they smile at you!

She looks beautiful... such a nice glossy coat.
A friend of mine has two Aussie shepherds - she does sheep trials with the youngest. Does Jessie do sheep trials as well?

No unfortunately... I had grand plans for her to be a fly ball dog, but she had other ideas - she gets terrible car sickness :(
I bought her for my ex - he's had some hard times lately and it was better for her to be home with her family than with what the options where for the time being. I'd like nothing better for her to be out doing something like that however, she does take her guardian duties very seriously

Sounds like they're kinda like a Maine Coon Cat, Samantha always watched out the kitchen window for her Papa to come home, she'd then be waiting when I opened the door with a Cheerful greeting.
