Thread: Ella's household friends...

Probably time to quickly introduce the rest of the zoo to the forum.....

Thimble on the right - 6yr old Jack Russell, came to us at 9thms as a rescue, when she looks in the mirror, she sees a Rottie, but is very loving and sweet natured. Used to be top dog [and cat] until our MC came along...

Scrappy Doodle on the left, 5ys old taller and slighter than Thimble, very sweet and loving, a little bit nervous at times, and definitely excitable [ok, read 'yappy'] but tries her best to be a good dog.



Mr Mumble, 2 1/2 yrs old rescue 'moggie', been with us for a year now - if this cat was any more laid back he would be permanently horizontal, totally accepting of any furry critter we introduce to his home and his main interest in life centres around his food bowl, this 'Garfield' really.



Last but by no means least, is Maisie, Mr Mumbles soul mate and came with him as a rescue, they have been together since kittenhood, though are not siblings. A fiercely independent cat at heart, she still loves a cuddle if you are sitting in her favourite spot on the sofa. She took longest of all our animals to accept the introduction of our Maine Coon Ella, but is now friends and is the one that will 'play' with the kitten, even though said kitten is already considerably bigger then she is.



I plan to try and get Ella onto this red background in the next week or so, as I want to do a framed triptych to take as a sample to a dog show in April, where I will be doing pet portraits in aid of our local animal rescue home, the Mayhew, here in London. Wish me luck


Anyway, that is our household so far, I have a feeling it won't be long before another MC joins us - thank goodness for a fairly large house!
