Thread: We thought she was a Russian Blue...

Just introducing our other beautiful baby, Natasha (Tashi). She was a rescue in East Hanover, NJ. She's got very soft, woolly gray fur and bright orange eyes.

We adopted her as an adult -we saw her cowering in a cage in the animal shelter. Apparantly she had come from a family with a small boy and was a bit traumatized. The volunteers at the shelter didn't want us to take her out and handle her, but my husband demanded it.

He sat for a while with Tashi, gave her a lot of love and she came home with us. A year later, she comes out to greet strangers and chirps at us all the time. She's big too, not like Gabriel, but about 13 pounds...as I write this, he's tackling her...lol.

Anyway, she turned out to be a french breed, a Chartreux. But the name Natasha stuck.
