Dyson Groom
Hi,
has anyone ever used the Dyson Groom brush attachment for the vaccuum cleaner on your cat? Got mine last week and finally found something that really works. Tried a regular brush on Vier-Zehn and Popcorn but even though it got out a lot of loose hair most of it spread through my whole flat. Got a furminator. Even more hair off the cats (which HATE the tool) and an even bigger mess in the house. Since both boys like the Dyson I got the Groom (even though the web site says it's only for dogs...). The result is amazing. It gets all loose hair off the cats PLUS sucks it right into the Dyson. WOW. And the boys are so in love with it I can hardly get to use my Dyson on the floors.... Whenever I switch in on they plop down in the way and expect to be brushed
Cheers,
HB

Now that sounds like a useful tool. Have you got a link to where it is available from.

And I may get one myself now - even given the "summer" we are having, the place is cat hair hell
The boys don't run from the Dyson, although Leo does prefer to watch from a distance, when I hoover.
The only thing stopping me was not knowing if it will fit my model of Dyson (DC23 Pet) - actually, just checked and I don't think it is :(
Edit: Yes, it's compatible - not with the normal DC23 but it is with my version.Last edited by Peter Galbavy; 30th July 2011 at 11:20 AM.

Late follow-up, but just to say that Dicky seems to enjoy being vacuumed. The other two are ok with the brush but only without the noise. I am going to try setting it up so the Dyson is behind a door and see if Leo and Bertie can be purrsuaded (sic) to let me us it on them.
