    Hey everyone!

We had our 2nd cat show on Sat, 1st show as an Adult and Marshall got his first Premier cert!! I am so proud of my little guy as he was up against amazing cats! He also got a 1st and 3rd in his side classes.

At this years show I set up a kitty Photobooth so wanted to share pics from it too!

Congratulations to you both, when is the next show...?
Just had Shimba's paperwork back confirming he is a FIFE Grand International Premier so he is now needs ten more certificates to reach the top, makes you very proud of them doesn't it ...? x

thanks so much, the next show isnt until march 2013 so we have a bit of a wait! OH congrats shimba!!! it makes me so stupidly proud knowing that other people think they are as amazing as we do! so far ive only shown with GCCF but after talking to people at the show TICA and FIFE were mentioned I might research and see what I think of them, but need to find out the rules on how this affects the GGCF....

Not sure if rules are still the same but if your cat was registered GCCF then you couldn't attend another cat show within 13 days of showing with the GCCF,you also had to write to them & inform them of what other shows you are attending.
The good thing with both TICA & Fife is they offer an open door policy which means you can at least go along & give them a try without being registered with any clubs.
Have tried TICA once with Merlyn,I loved it but Merl wasn't so happy, all too busy for him,am going to try Ruby our youngest one next year though,Merl also didn't like the GCCF & was going to give up showing him but all that changed when we took him to Fife, with Shimba only had him registered with fife & he loves his day out especially when he can lay on the grooming table & have lots of attention from members of the public. They both differ a lot from the GCCF,a lot more relaxed I think & well worth a look at even if you pop along to a local show catless.....

yeah i think I need to tell GCCF if I intend to show with a different body.

Marshall's report has just been posted online ( much quicker this time than his first show). I am super chuffed with his report, it was his first show in the adult section and at only 10 months old I was amazed and shocked he beat the older boys to first!
Here is the excerpt from the website

1st Pr. White’s ANAMCARAMINE BRAVESTARR 64 41. Just adult but very promising. Has really heavy body, needs to be stretched out to see it, and has good length full tail. Very promising head lines with well held large tufted ears. Cheeks developing, quite broad nose. Concave nose line,. Oblique set eyes. Full soft coat, well presented Needs to mature but very promising.

That's one of the things I like about Fife you listen to what the judge says & you get written report on the day, with TICA think it is just verbal but again you can hear what is being said.
Gives you a lovely feeling though doesn't it......
